How Lottery Sambad Works

Lottery Sambad is the everyday name for the Nagaland State Lottery results, the Dear weekly lotteries that are drawn three times a day. This guide explains the draw times, how a result sheet is laid out and how to check a ticket. For live numbers see the Lottery Sambad result today page. Everything here is information only.

Every day has a 1:00 PM, a 6:00 PM and an 8:00 PM draw. Each one is a separate lottery with its own result sheet, and each weekday carries its own draw name, which is printed at the top of the sheet along with the draw number and date.

1. 1st prize: one ticket, written as a series code and a 5-digit number, for example 35D 76682.
2. Consolation prize: the same 5-digit number in every other series.
3. 2nd prize: ten 5-digit numbers, matched on the last 5 digits of a ticket in any series.
4. 3rd, 4th and 5th prizes: lists of 4-digit numbers, matched on the last 4 digits of a ticket. The 5th prize list is the longest.

1. Open the result for the right date and draw time.
2. Compare the full ticket (series and number) with the 1st prize.
3. Compare the 5-digit number with the consolation and 2nd prize numbers.
4. Compare the last 4 digits with the 3rd, 4th and 5th prize lists.
5. Confirm any win against the official result sheet before claiming.
